Expert Opinion
Like a chameleon slipping through a crowd, the caller morphs its identity to slip past filters. The pattern shows repeated spoofed numbers, vague affiliations, and a push for high‑level contacts—classic signs of a robocall scam. Hang up without sharing names, block the number, and report it to the FCC’s Do Not Call registry. If the call claims a university or MPS partnership, verify directly with the institution using known contacts—not the caller’s info. Deploy call‑blocking apps and keep a log of timestamps to help trace repeat offenders.
