Scam calls from San Francisco number keep ringing – how to stop them!
Summary — +14159727712
Expert Opinion
Yesterday afternoon, dozens of users reported relentless calls from +1‑415‑972‑7712. The pattern matches typical robocall scams: brief rings, immediate hang‑up, and no voicemail, often labeled as a contractor or “home‑improvement” pitch. Callers rarely leave a message and the line may be disconnected when you try to call back, a classic sign of spoofed numbers. To protect yourself, let the call go to voicemail, block the number on your handset or carrier app, and avoid returning the call. Report the nuisance to the FCC’s Do‑Not‑Call registry and consider a call‑filtering service. Stay alert for any requests for personal or payment info.
