Is That Insurance Recruiter a Scam?

Expert Opinion
Many people say they keep getting calls from a number that claims to have found their resume on Monster and wants to set up an interview. The pattern points to a commission‑only insurance sales operation that pulls contact info from public job boards. If you never applied, treat the call as unsolicited sales outreach and hang up. Never share personal data or pay any fees up front, and request a verifiable email address or official website link. Block the number and report it to your carrier if the calls become harassing. Check the caller’s credentials before committing any time or money.
