On 16th Jan 2024 they claimed I lost money on the market, which is absurd since I have no investments; they even knew my first name. I ended the call.
They possessed my name and phone number, likely from a prior privacy breach or a local car‑sale ad. I kept them on the line briefly before they grew frustrated and disconnected. They tried to retrieve money from nonexistent investments, even using other spoofed numbers across Ontario and elsewhere with the same nonsense.
