The messages are automatic email‑alert notifications that slip onto the SIM when old email accounts remain linked to the carrier’s messaging service. The quickest fix is to log into your T‑Mobile online profile, locate the communication tools or email alerts section, and disable any third‑party email notifications. If you can’t access the portal, call T‑Mobile support and specifically request the PDA or email‑alert setting to be turned off. Deleting the offending accounts from the phone’s email app or changing the email passwords also stops the traffic. After the setting is cleared, the unwanted texts should disappear within 24 hours.
Upgrading to a BlackBerry caused this issue, but a call to T-mobile resolved the problem by disabling email alerts.
The issue of receiving the +10476000000 text message began after switching from postpaid to prepaid with T-mobile, but it was resolved after contacting technical support, who found that previously registered email accounts were set to alert the old phone, and disabling these alerts fixed the problem.

So i had to put my sim back into my old blackberry becuse of some issues with tmobile

I'm extremly annoyed by this number, i get calls every 3 minuites, i try to ignore them but they just keep calling

It keep's sending me random letters and numbers, and as soon as i delete them, it send's another one, and i have a sidekick phone.

so far, so good. the msgs stopped comin
you can block the number by goin to your blackberry settings and turnin on the firewall. then just block the sms and youre good to go - Matt

OMG, i figured out how to stop these msgs!!! if you have a sidekick, just go to tmobile.com and change your email settings. itll stop the msgs from comin. i tested it like 10 times and it worked! - Brian

its common on sidekicks, apparantly it only sends to t-mobile phones. dont even bother tryin to text back, it wont work and itll cost you money - Alex
