T‑Mobile texts flooding your phone? Stop them now!
Summary — +1476000000
Expert Opinion
Imagine getting the same cryptic text dozens of times a day — that’s what many T‑Mobile users report. The messages are automatic email‑alert notifications that slip onto the SIM when old email accounts remain linked to the carrier’s messaging service. The quickest fix is to log into your T‑Mobile online profile, locate the communication tools or email alerts section, and disable any third‑party email notifications. If you can’t access the portal, call T‑Mobile support and specifically request the PDA or email‑alert setting to be turned off. Deleting the offending accounts from the phone’s email app or changing the email passwords also stops the traffic. After the setting is cleared, the unwanted texts should disappear within 24 hours.

I'm on a sidekick too and I think this is just a T-mobile, sidekick, yahoo thing. lol
Holy moly, THANK YOUUUU!! I've been recieving these stupid texts since I got my new phone. I tried calling and texting back but nothing worked. I was starting to freak out, thinking it was some kind of scam or somthing. You're the best!
so whats the deal with this? how do we fix it?
I'm on a sidekick too and was dealing with those anoying texts from 047-600-0000. Anyways, I figured out the solution - I called T-mobile, asked them to remove all email alerts from my account, then went on myt-mobile.com and deleted my YahooMail account, and also deleted it from my phone. I restared my phone, and when it came back on, I logged out of myt-mobile.com and re-added my YahooMail account through my phone. And voila! My phone's now alerting me when I get new mail in my Yahoo account and I dont get those stupid texts anymore! Hope this helps!
So I was having the same problem with T-mobile and my email, turns out it's super easy to fix - just hit them up and tell them the phone number thats sendin you those texts. They gotta manully correct it, and after that, everything started working like a charm. Now I get all my emails, not just some of them!
does anyone no how to disible this thing from my tmobile acount?
everytime i get an email, i get a text. started happening when i got a loaner phone

Finding this information has been very helpful. The experience of dealing with these calls is frustrating, and it's worth mentioning that I also use T-MOBILE.
YESSSS I FOUND OUT WHY I WAS GETTING THOSE RANDOM TEXTS. ITS LINKED TO YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT!!! if you check your email, youll get a text a minute later. told t-mobile about it and they fixed it in like 2 secunds
Using the spam filters on my T-Mobile account has been effective in blocking unwanted calls.
Amusingly, the situation is laughable.
Toni, I'm still uncertain whether it was effective or not, and I'm seeking clarification.
Experiencing the same issue here, and I'm also a T-Mobile user, with multiple daily calls for a month now.
The received message appears to be a jumbled sequence of characters, lacking any discernible meaning or purpose.
It seems that the problem may stem from email setups on previous phones, particularly those from Samsung, and resolving this issue may require signing out of these devices to prevent further disturbances.
I'm experiencing similar issues with my Sidekick 08 2, which is quite frustrating.
Has anyone else experienced a cessation of text messages from this number, as I'm currently dealing with a similar issue
Generally, my daughter experinces alot of harassments when she uses a cell phone. Contacting Tmobile suport didnt help as they seemed clueless, sugesting turning of texting alltogether which is rediculous since i have unlimted texting --not going to pay for nothing.
n=m=1=2 is all i got
since purchasing the sidekick lx in 2008, i've been receiving strange texts, and despite replying with a request to stop, the messages continue
After switching my SIM card to a different phone, I received numerous texts from this number; it's likely related to my recent change.
A persistent message is received on different phones with the same simcard, including the sidekick lx09, g1, and behold, and it's unclear how to stop it
I gets these texts sooo much, like 5 or 6 an hour, i called tmobile and they changed my number free of charge, but i still gets the texts
I appresheate the help, I've been recieving anoying texts since I changed my phone number two days ago, the texts come every 30 minits.
I made the ringtone silent, becouse it was driving me crazy, i had my number changed, i paid the 15 dollar, then t mobile said i had to pay it again, so i did, but i still get the text
I am extremely grateful!
It's infuriating to receive repeated messages on my T-Mobile Sidekick, despite attempting to delete them, and T-Mobile seems unaware of the issue
ive been recieving texts every hour on the hour
