Scam debt collector calls – how to stop them!
Summary — +15033344781
Expert Opinion
You’d be shocked to learn that the same bogus script is being used by dozens of fake debt collectors across the country. These callers claim you have two fraudulent charges, threaten to serve papers at your home or workplace, and even cite the FDCPA to sound legit. Never share personal details like your Social Security number or address over the phone, and hang up the moment the script turns threatening. Use your phone’s block feature or a reputable call‑blocking app, and register the number with the National Do‑Not‑Call Registry. Report the abuse to the FTC and your state’s consumer protection agency. If the calls persist, consider filing a harassment complaint with your local law enforcement.
