Uh no, that was definatly not a legit call from the State of New Mexico. You proved that yourself. Medicare is a fed program, not state. If ther was a problem with a claim, youd get a letter from Medicare, not a phone call.
Caller ID said Suspected Spam and the number was 505-000-0000. I answered and it was the State of New Mexico Income Support Unit about a Medicare claim. Legit call.

This number is definatly fake. 505 is the NM area code but this is some kinda spoofed number. Got like 6-7 calls today with no msgs. Picked up and some lady with a bad conection and broken english asked if I wanted to do a survey. I told her I wasnt interested and hung up. Pretty sure this is some kinda phishing scam
