Expert Opinion
Like a wolf in sheep's clothing, these calls pretend to be legitimate recruiters but often turn out to be scams that harvest your resume and personal data. The pattern—unsolicited outreach, vague company details, and pressure to schedule interviews—matches classic job‑spam tactics. Protect yourself by never sharing sensitive information over the phone, verifying the employer through an official website, and blocking the number immediately. Report the incident to the FTC and your phone carrier to help curb future abuse. Keep a log of the call details, and consider using a call‑screening app to filter unknown numbers before they reach you.
