Globelend texts asking ‘Is this you?’ – should you answer?

Two texts were received, both addressing me by name, which seemed like another instance of spam. The decision was made to block and delete these messages.

Received a text message asking if this was Wendy, which I didn't respond to, and now plan to block the number

No response was given when I inquired about the ownership of this phone number via text.

Following a similar experience, I received texts addressing me by name, and after verifying the spam nature of these messages, I promptly blocked and deleted them.

My interaction was with someone claiming to be "Vivian". It is regrettable that such individuals do not channel their energy into more positive and constructive pursuits, as their potential goes to waste.

Seems like they're still active! today i recieved a text from vivian at globelend wanting to confirm if i was ruben with company x, im not ushally one to give out my cell number so when i get these texts they seem very suspicious to me... thanks for posting your coment's its really helpfull to share these experinces

Similar to others, I got a text with just my name and a question mark, followed by another asking if this is still my number; fortunately, I googled the number before responding.

I recieved a text trying to confirm my first name, thanks to the reports from everyone else, I was able to block and delete the number

A text was recieved, supposedly from someone named Toby

A similar experience occurred with a text containing the question "Mike?", which was promptly blocked.

A text message was received with a simple 'Chris?' query, which is unclear in its intent.

A text message from this number simply said 'John?' and, thanks to other users reporting it as spam, it was deleted.

I received a text message from this number, asking if I was a specific person, but since I didn't recognize the name, I blocked the number and deleted the message to avoid any potential scams.
