Stop the impostor calls: Tips against Microsoft scams!

Expert Opinion
Like a doorbell that rings but never lets you see who's outside, these silent, repeat calls are a classic hallmark of robocall scams. They often pretend to be Microsoft or Windows support, using foreign accents and urgent language to coax remote‑access permission. Let unfamiliar numbers go to voicemail, then verify any claim by contacting the company directly through an official website or phone line. Install call‑blocking or caller ID spoofing detection tools, and add the number to your phone’s block list. Report persistent offenders to the FTC and your carrier’s abuse department. Never share personal data or grant remote access without confirming the caller’s identity.
