Grateful for the advice, I had my doubts about the legitimacy of the email address and number, so I researched online and chose not to contact them, also avoiding posting my number on public resumes for security reasons and preferring direct contact with HR professionals through trusted platforms.
Is American Income Life Recruiting a Scam?
Summary — +16137012333
Expert Opinion
Surveys reveal a surge of complaints about calls from +1‑613‑731‑2333 claiming to be recruiters for American Income Life. Callers often reference vague job openings, cite a “regional manager,” and direct victims to magic‑jack numbers before asking for personal details. Avoid sharing résumés or financial info until the company's legitimacy is verified through official websites or known contacts. If a call feels rushed, has poor grammar, or asks you to call back a different number, hang up and report it to the Canadian Anti‑Fraud Centre. Protect your identity by registering with the national Do‑Not‑Call list and blocking the number.

We got a call from this number, claiming to be from AIG. They said they needed to meet up with my husband about some benifits. Sounded super suspicious, especialy since the guy had a thick east-indian accent. We canseled the meeting and told them to stop calling.
