Robocall Spoofing Alert: TellCityHall.ca Survey
Summary — +16477159392
Expert Opinion
Ever wonder why a call from +1 647‑715‑9392 keeps showing up as City Hall and never leaves a clear message? The pattern points to a robocall from a market‑research firm that brands itself as TellCityHall.ca, typically conducting short opinion surveys about local issues. Because the number is often spoofed, the caller ID can be misleading, and the brief voicemail snippets provide little verification. To stay safe, avoid sharing personal details, add the number to your phone’s block list, and register it on the national Do Not Call registry. If the call feels suspicious, report it to your carrier or the CRTC for possible spoofing abuse.

Same thing, call and no message, so I block it
I got a call from a unknown number, its probably spam
It's worth noting that the presence of a plus sign or a 1 in a phone number doesn't necessarily imply an overseas or long-distance call, as the carrier's display format can vary, and such numbers have been known to belong to local individuals, moreover, complaints to the CRTC may not be warranted given the call's legality as a telephone survey, a fact clearly stated here.
Other users have investigated the website, which appears to be owned by Advance Inc., a legitimate marketing and research firm; however, they are contacting cell phone numbers without consent, prompting me to file a complaint with the CRTC Do Not Call Registry.
The presence of '1' indicates a long-distance call, yet it's unusual for GTA area codes to be designated as such when calling within the same region, and the '+' symbol typically signifies an international number, suggesting an offshore call center is involved.
