Scam SMS warning: protect your data
Summary — +16672222019
Expert Opinion
Clearly, the message you received is a classic phishing attempt. The sender somehow obtained your first name, likely from a recent data breach, and is using a fake delivery notice to lure you to a malicious URL. Never click unknown links, especially when they ask for payment or personal info. Verify any supposed delivery by contacting the official carrier directly using contact details from their website, not the ones in the text. Enable two‑factor authentication on accounts linked to your phone number, and consider a credit freeze if you suspect identity theft. Report the number to your carrier’s spam‑blocking service and to the FTC.
