Scam callers using fake process servers—how to protect yourself!
Summary — +17123087820
Expert Opinion
Watch out for callers claiming legal threats or debt garnishment from unknown numbers. They often use a recorded script that cites a “process server,” a sealed case, or an urgent court deadline to create panic. Never share personal data, Social Security numbers, or payment information before verifying the source through official channels. Hang up and block the number, then report it to the FTC or your phone carrier. If a legitimate agency needs to contact you, they will send a written notice first. Keep records of voicemails and any numbers mentioned, and consider using a call‑blocking app to reduce repeat harassment.
