Expert Opinion
Imagine your phone lights up with a call that claims they have your name and Social Security number attached to a mysterious debt. The safest move is to hang up immediately and never return the call, especially when the caller offers no company name and uses vague threats. Add the number to your phone’s block list, and consider reporting it to the FCC’s spam‑call database or your carrier’s fraud department. Keep your personal information private; legitimate agencies will never demand payment or details over an unsolicited call. If you’re worried about identity theft, place a fraud alert on your credit reports and monitor accounts regularly. Stay skeptical and protect your data.

This caller's claim that the call is linked to my personal details is unsubstantiated and seems like a ploy to intimidate, so it's best to block the number as it appears to be a spam call using scare tactics.
