United Processing Services scam explained!

This call was clearly a scam attempt.

I blocked this number on my cell, but they called my job, they said they were from United Process Service and there's a law suit against me.

A call was received regarding a supposed civil complaint, and after claiming to be a paralegal, a file number was provided, and an 844 number was given to call, which turned out to be a scam

Following a call from United processing services, instructions were given to contact another number within a limited timeframe, threatening further action if not complied with

I just recieved a call from somone claiming they needed to deliver legal paperwork. I hung up because I get alot of scam calls.

This morning, I received a call claiming it was their last attempt to reach me and that I should contact a number because someone had filed a lawsuit against me, which I knew was untrue.

A woman called, claiming a legal matter required attention and provided an alternate number, 844-853-1188, to call back, threatening to take further action if not complied with

I received a call from this number with the same message as others and immediately blocked it.

Lisa Brown from this number informed me about delivering complaint paperwork, which appears to be a scam, as I had not received any prior notice by mail.

It appears this number is associated with a scam, as a woman claims to be serving legal papers but refuses to provide any details or identification. Having worked at a law firm, I attempted to call back from our office number, only to receive a recording stating they cannot accept calls from that line. Interestingly, prior to their call, they had contacted my mother's residence in Wisconsin, a state I haven't lived in for over 25 years. This lack of legitimacy is a clear indication of a scam or a collection agency violating federal and state laws. Therefore, it is crucial not to provide any information if they contact you, as their methods are unlawful.
