After some reseach, I found out that its a company calld 'DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY PROCUREMENT LLC', a bit misleading if you ask me.
Located in N.J., this company apparently is a legit supply company, they honoured the 15% discount on electricity cost... and also gave me the 50 dollar cash rebate, no fees even if i opt out, so far it's been good!!!!!

After outpatient surgery, I was awoken by a call from this number, which is listed on the do not call registry, and it's frustrating that they disregarded this.
The caller identified themselves as being from Verde Energy and inquired about the person responsible for the energy bill. As this company is a known alternate electricity supplier in NJ, I informed them I was the responsible party. They asked if I had seen the inserts in my bill about choosing a supplier, to which I replied that my number is on the national do not call registry and I would be reporting them to the FTC for the violation. The caller then claimed they were not attempting to make a sale, which was unconvincing. I ended the call and reported the number.

Apparently, Verde Enegry is a suplier of energy in CT, but they have there call center in Florida, which mean they dont have to pay the workers minimum wage or benefits

This number is associated with a telemarketer, as evidenced by postings found on Craigslist
Upon answering, there was no message left by the caller.
I am unsure if this number is a collection agency, but i dont have any outstanding debt so it may be regarding my brother.
