Expert Opinion
Watch out: these calls often claim to represent Federal Services and promise a five‑year GSA contract, but many turn out to be fraudulent. Never share company details, SAM registration numbers, or banking info with unsolicited callers. Verify the caller by independently locating the official agency’s contact number and asking for a callback. If the pitch sounds vague, pushes you to act quickly, or demands payment for “registration,” hang up and report the number to the FTC or your IT security team. Document the voicemail and share it with colleagues so the whole office stays protected.
