PCS Corp debt collector scam: How to stop the calls!

A person with a thick indian accent, claming to be Officer Mack Peter, called me and said I had an outstanding debt, he gave me the above number to call back, but I knew it was a scam, and I blocked the numbers

He threatened that a case would be filed against me unless I took immediate action, but his tactics seemed suspicious, especially since I've encountered similar scams before. It's likely they obtain information from payday loan or internet loan sites. To handle such calls, it's advisable to ask them to slow down their speech, then inquire about the company they're collecting for, the company they represent, and their FEIN number. If they comply, reporting this information to the FBI could be useful.
