Hotel Values scam? How to protect your booking!

I went direct to the Hotel website in Vienna and the charge was $897.16 for our stay. These Hotel Value thieves somehow got a hold of the reservation and added $444.46 to my CC. My hotel showed me how much they recived and it was the $897.16

This is a completly SCAM - i go to hotel website to book reservation, they showed me price per night and total amount, i aproved it, but after i saw the fees chargded to my credit card, it was 44% over price agreed.

Attempts to call for a refund were futile, as the promised 2-minute wait turned into 20 minutes of holding, with no one answering. In agreement with previous posters, it's best to avoid this number altogether; I'm currently disputing the charge with my credit card company.

Fortunately, i was able to get my money back using the telefon number 001 (855) 470-1527, the listed number on the Guest Reservations - Reservation Confirmation was usless and caused alot of confusions and missunderstanding all the time thenumber and no way to enter the number on the keybord, seems like its only ther to annoy users and has no real funcion.
