Hotel Values scam? How to protect your booking!

I made an error in booking a room through a website that appeared to be the official hotel website, but was actually a third-party site, resulting in a $110 fee for tax recovery and service fee, I am currently trying to recover my money

Whilst making reservations, I realised the hotel wasnt where I wanted it to be and when I rang to complian, they were extreemly rude and asked for my card details
