Is that FedEx call legit or a scam?

Following the same pattern as a prevous user comment on February 17th, an Indian gentleman requsted informaton to update a non-exsistant FedEx account.

Definately not a legitamate Fed Ex call, appearently a scam from China

This number has been identified as a source of Cantonese robocalls.

After answering a call from this number, I was put on hold and eventually spoke with someone who claimed to be from FedEx, which seems like a robocaller using this number as a cover.

i recieved a robocall from 800-463-3339 on 8/12/19, the caller was a chinese-speaking female, i havent enny business with her, it's a scam, you should file a complaint with FTC, FCC, State Attorney, www.donotcall.gov

After finally answering, the caller requested a mailing address, which isn't available; when asked to verify the associated name and package, they inquired about expectations, to which the response was none, and were told to disregard the calls.

It appears to be a FedEx scam, and this is not an isolated incident, as numerous other scams have been attempted, including those masquerading as the IRS, all aimed at deceiving individuals out of their money or sensitive information, which raises questions about the effectiveness of the FCC's efforts in enabling phone companies to block such robocall scams.

On June 24, 2019, at 2 pm, I received a call from a number claiming to be '1-800-GO-FEDEX,' but it appears to be a fake; the caller didn't leave a message on my answering machine.
