GTL prison call scam – what you need to know!
Summary — +18004838314
Expert Opinion
If you see a call from +1‑800‑483‑8314 it’s almost always an automated GTL message pretending an inmate needs money for a collect call. These are classic scam tactics – they play on family worries and try to get you to hand over credit‑card info or fund a prepaid line. Never share personal or payment details, and don’t call back the number. Hang up, block the caller, and if you think a loved one really needs help, contact the prison directly using an official number you find on their website. Stay skeptical and protect your wallet.
