American Express fraud alerts – what to watch for!
Summary — +18005284800
Expert Opinion
If you get a call from +18005284800 claiming to be American Express or warning you about a fraud alert, treat it with caution. Scammers love spoofing big‑brand names to steal your card details. Never give out your full credit‑card number, Social Security, or passwords over the phone. Hang up, look up the official Amex number yourself, and call back on that verified line. If the call sounds urgent or threatens account closure, it’s probably a scam. Keep a log of the call, block the number in your phone, and report it to your card issuer’s fraud department.
