This number is indeed associated with AOL's customer service, which has one outbound call center that contacts customers for specific reasons: to persuade them to remain with the service after cancellation, to inform them about benefits associated with their paid accounts, or to address particular issues. To verify the authenticity of the call, customers can request that the representative confirm their last call to AOL or send certified mail bearing AOL's icon.

A man called from 800-827-6364, inquiring about my schedule due to supposed billing issues with my account, but his uncertain demeanor and inability to provide a phone number or extension raised suspicions
I made the mistake of dialing this number, and the tech rep wanted remote access to my computer, they said i had a hacker, but after i asked some questions they hung up, i dont trust them
After answering with my company's name, a man with a white male voice apologized for the mistake, saying he had dialed the wrong number, and quickly ended the call.
If they were legit, they would of left a voice mail, but they didnt, so i assume they just want to scam me...
It's surprizing that no one has reported this to the FBI Crime unit yet, this is a clear case of FRAUD, and the person is posing as a represantative of AOL and other companies, it's a con and should be reported, i'm planning to file a complaint with the FBI's online fraud unit online
In contrast to Samuel's opinion, I firmly believe this number is associated with fraudulent activities. When attempting to cancel an AOL account, they requested sensitive banking information, which raised significant suspicions.
For everyone's information, this number is associated with the CS phone number, and it's also linked to billing and technical support. Therefore, it's legitimate, and if you call back, you'll likely be greeted by AOL's IVR system. Additionally, if your account has billing issues, an AOL representative may contact you to assist with updating the information.
The reverse lookup reveales AOL, however they havent been a client for over a year now.
