Nelson Watson & Associates debt collector calls – what to do?
Summary — +18008349011
Expert Opinion
Like a persistent knock on a door, the calls from +18008349011 keep coming whether you answer or not. They’re almost certainly a debt‑collection operation tied to Nelson Watson & Associates, and the scripts often demand personal data or a callback to a fake number. Hang up immediately if you’re unsure, and never share your SSN, birthdate, or bank details. Register the line on the National Do Not Call Registry, then add it to your phone’s block list or use a third‑party call‑blocking app. Keep a log of dates and times, report repeated harassment to the FTC, and consider a call‑trace request if the calls become threatening.

I've been recieving alot of calls from 800-834-9011 and 201-210-3618, they leave a message saying it's from NCO collection agency, but i have a good credit, so i dont know why they keep calling me
For months, these individuals have been calling, now using this number, and leaving recorded messages, asking me to call back, despite my excellent credit and no outstanding debts.
Nelson, Watson & Associates appear to be working with these telemarketing companys
Upon receiving a call from this number, the representative spoke rapidly, making it difficult to discern who they were asking for. Assuming it was for my father, I informed them he was unavailable. They promptly requested his cell phone number, citing a private legal matter, and became agitated when I refused to provide it. After hanging up, I contacted the number back and was provided with a case number by a different representative, but I remain skeptical due to the initial representative's behavior.
I recieve two calls on my recorder this week, they said it was about important bussines to discuss, my husband called them and they were very rude, i hope they dont call me again
Repeated calls have been made from this number, but as a rule, 1-800 numbers are not answered, and the lack of messages left suggests that the calls are not of importance.
Despite being informed that we're on the National Do Not Call list and that the individuals they're trying to reach don't live at this number, this company continues to call.
I've recieved numerous calls from this number, and they claim my number belongs to someone named William Carr, which is compleatly false.
I received a call from this number, which I ignored, but they called back twice and left a message. Curiosity got the better of me, and I returned the call, only to be asked for personal information. I provided false details and warned them not to call again, though I doubt they'll heed the warning.
The caller left a vague message stating 'we need to talk' and provided another number to call, 800-870-6114, without offering any additional context.
It is apparent that this company lacks professionalism, as evidenced by their inability to hire competent staff who can communicate effectively. Upon researching this number through Caller ID and a quick search, it was discovered that they have been calling daily at the same time, with a representative, possibly named Jeffery, requesting a callback before abruptly hanging up. This Pre-Litigation company appears to be making idle threats, which is illegal unless they intend to follow through with the stated actions. Familiarizing themselves with Credit laws would be beneficial. It is likely that they will face a federal case in the future. Their tactics, likely aimed at collecting outdated debts, are best ignored.
There is an inquiry about the whereabouts of Ethel.
An automated recording instructed me to call a company about an important message or wait for an associate, regarding an application with my name listed as a contact
Our experience with this number has been one of repeated calls, supposedly for a woman named Ethel, despite our number being registered for over a year and a half, and we've been receiving these calls since the first month, prompting me to email sales@nelsonwatson.com for further clarification.
It apears I recieved a call from them and they asked me to hold for an availible asociate, sounds lik a bunch of nonesense to me, whats the point of a company calling and then putting me on hold?
The caller was seeking a woman who apparently provided my cell phone number as her own, leading me to inform the caller that I didn't want any further solicitation calls, as this number is for my business.
As an 80-year-old woman who has never owned a credit card, I'm receiving daily automated calls that border on harassment.
