I didnt bother anwsering the call, instead I looked up the number and it seems to be origionating from a correcional facility, I'm guessing its a scam becouse I dont know anyone in jail

Within a span of 3 hours, I received three calls on my cell phone from this number, which a Google search suggests might be NCIC Inmate Phone Service, although the CID displayed 'Unknown', raising concerns about a potential scam or spoofed number.
Despite receiving three missed calls from this number today, all I found was a cryptic voicemail prompting me to press a certain number to accept or deny something, with no indication of who was calling or why.

Today, two calls were recieved from this number, followed by a voicemail with a message stating that to acept the call would cost 10 cents etc. As a rule, calls from unrecognised numbers are not ansered.
Interestingly, 800-943-2189 calls my cell phone but doesnt ring, it just sends a message to my voicemail
