It's essential to note that this call is not affiliated with AT&T or any of its subsidiaries.
A voicemail was left by a robotic voice, claiming to be from AT&T and asking me to access my account online or return the call to 1-800-947-5096, which is clearly a phishing scam
Unfortunately, this scam has been ongoing since 2015, and I've personally received three calls that raised my suspicions.
Apparently, this number constantly contacts me, claiming that my bill is overdue and that my wireless service will be disconnected if I don't pay immediately, which is not true since my payments are up to date.
