Kohl’s fake Pay call—how to avoid a scam!
Summary — +18009856457
Expert Opinion
Late last night, a wave of calls claiming to be from Kohl’s customer service prompted dozens of shoppers to hand over personal details. Callers typically demand the last four of your Social Security number, date of birth, or card information—all classic phishing cues. The script mirrors recent phishing emails that falsely announce a Kohl’s Pay enrollment, making the ruse feel authentic. The safest move is to hang up, verify through the official Kohl’s website or app, and never share sensitive data over the phone. Block the number, report it to your carrier, and consider a credit‑freeze if you suspect exposure.

Clearly, you are misinformed, Kohl's has no involvment with the credit card, Capital One, N.A. is the issuer, so whats the point of this post, especialy since this thread has been inactive for 4 years, it seems like an attempt to use this number for scamming purposes.
All the posts I've seen say diferent things, and the Kohl's Customer Service number is always listed as 855-564-5748, so I think this post is missleading, and I'll be reporting it for removal.
