Attorney General Threat Call? How to Spot the Scam!
Summary — +18323015720
Expert Opinion
Clearly, these voicemail threats pretending to be an Attorney General are a classic scam that relies on panic and tight deadlines. The script—mentioning a 30‑minute window, a fake warrant, and a named “Sam Wilson”—matches known impersonation rings that use spoofed numbers and generic government branding. Recipients should never return the call, never send money, and should report the number to their carrier and to the FTC. Block the caller, delete any related emails, and verify any legitimate legal notices directly with the official state AG website. Staying calm and checking official sources stops the fraudsters from cashing in.
