Received an automated call claiming a large, unusual charge on my debt card, complete with a case number and last four digits of the card number, but after verifying with my bank, no such charges existed, leading me to conclude it was a scam and prompting me to block the caller
The fraud department's robocall instructed me to dial a number and provide another one; after checking with my bank they confirmed it was a scam.
Obviously a total scam! My instincts were correct, I should of listend to my inner voice. Not suprisingly, I recieved a call from Fraud Detecktion afterwards
Initially, the call was automated but then transferred to a live person who sought my personal details; after questioning the call's authenticity, I contacted my bank to secure my card.
The caller alleged there was unusual activity on my debit card, but when I returned the call, it became clear that it was a scam.
Despite multiple contacts, the information provided was consistently inaccurate, and my bank's procedures differ significantly.

A recorded message stated that GCB noted fraudulent activity on my debit card, stating the last 4 digits on the debit card as well as the owners name (which was acurate information), advised to call 833-735-1895 and mention case number #60209590359, but we didnt returned a call to that number

After receiving a call that resulted in one ring and a hang-up, a callback was made from a different number, prompting a request to enter the originally given number; instead, pressing '0' and waiting led to a conversation with a person who claimed to be from the Fraud Alert Center Department, though their legitimacy is questionable.
