Natalie’s legal‑threat scam: how to protect yourself!
Summary — +18337413418
Expert Opinion
Recent complaints reveal a pattern of callers claiming to be a process server and fabricating a legal threat to pressure victims. They often know the last four digits of a Social Security number and cite bogus reference numbers, aiming to extract money or personal information. Hang up immediately, avoid sharing any personal data, and block the number. Report the incident to the FTC and your state’s consumer protection agency. Verify any genuine legal notices by contacting the court or attorney directly using official contact details. Stay skeptical of urgent demands and remember legitimate process servers never call ahead to negotiate fees.
