This doesnt seem legit, sounds like a scam to me
Microsoft Defender renewal scam – what to watch out for!
Summary — +18453156957
Expert Opinion
A bogus email claims a $399 Microsoft Defender renewal and urges you to call +1‑845‑315‑6957. The message mimics official branding, but the language and unsolicited nature are classic signs of a scam. Do not call the number; instead, verify any subscription directly through the legitimate Microsoft account portal or official support channels. Block the caller on your phone and flag the email as phishing in your email client. Report the incident to Microsoft’s anti‑phishing team and to your carrier’s spam‑call service. Keep an eye on your bank statements for unauthorized charges and consider placing a fraud alert if you suspect your financial info was exposed. Prompt report can help prevent further abuse.
