Why BT’s SMS service keeps ringing your phone!
Summary — +18456021111
Expert Opinion
Last night, a wave of calls from +18456021111 left many households uneasy. The number is tied to BT’s SMS‑to‑voice relay service, which dials landlines when a text is sent to a number that can’t receive SMS. Because the service can generate calls even without a pending message, it often feels like a nuisance or scam. If you receive one, let it go to voicemail and verify the content before calling back. You can cancel the feature by dialing 0800 587 5252, option 5, or ask your provider to block the number. Never share personal details unless you’ve confirmed the source.
