Fax scam callers named Johnson – what to watch for!
Summary — +18552028268
Expert Opinion
Caution: unsolicited calls claiming a fax delivery are almost always a scam. Callers often use generic names like Johnson and a robotic script that mentions a “fax order” to pressure you into sharing personal data. Never provide your Social Security number, date of birth, or banking details to an unknown party, and hang up if the conversation turns hostile or demands verification. Block the number and report the incident to the FTC and your phone carrier. If you suspect identity theft, place a fraud alert with the credit bureaus. Keep a log of call times and any voicemail content for future reference.
