This appears to be a Window Scam
Windows support scam call – how to protect yourself!
Summary — +18558858954
Expert Opinion
Late last week, a surge of reports surfaced about calls from the +1‑855‑885‑8954 line claiming to be Windows support. Callers typically warn of a virus or ask the recipient to download software, even when the phone lacks data access. This pattern matches classic scam tactics that exploit familiar brand names. Recipients should hang up, avoid clicking any links, and never grant remote access. Block the number through your carrier or phone settings, and forward the details to the FTC’s spam‑reporting portal. If you suspect a legitimate Microsoft issue, initiate contact directly via the official website rather than responding to an unsolicited call.
