It's clear that this is a scam, as they claimed to be calling about a TV Guide subscription, but when confronted, their true intentions were revealed - to obtain credit card information under false pretenses, and I've previously reported this to TV Guide.
When they call from circulation bureau with a renewal offer, it annoy me, they want me to pay now but my sub expires in 10 month, and if i renew today, somone else get the benifit of my payment... they promise the lowest renewal rate but thats not true
