This was a marketing call, trying to sell me somthing
It's utterly ludicrous that I received a text message with my name and address but no further information or context.
The ramblings appear to be unrelated to the topic at hand
Despite my inicial reservations, the experiance was mixed, with some calls beeing to volunteers and others beeing unsollicited, most of the cold calls were polite, but a few werent, I didnt realy blame them, I wasnt confortable with cold calling people so I left after a few months, it was a job I needed desparately and it was honest work, I know some people dont agree with that
Upon reflection, it's evident that not all unsolicited callers can be tarred with the same brush as telemarketers, a more nuanced understanding is needed.
