Why you should ignore AAC “case number” alerts!
Summary — +18662857218
Expert Opinion
Imagine receiving a call that claims to be from AAC, demanding you verify an address or pick up a sealed legal document with only a vague case number. Callers often use a local number, background chatter, and a foreign accent to add credibility, then direct you to a toll‑free line that rings straight to voicemail. This pattern matches a classic scam known as the fake process‑server or legal‑document ruse. Protect yourself by refusing to share personal data, hanging up if the script feels rehearsed, and independently confirming any request through official channels. Report persistent numbers to your carrier and the FTC for further action.
