Credit repair scam callers – how to protect yourself!
Summary — +18663451023
Expert Opinion
Unexpectedly, many victims report that the same 866‑345‑1023 number masquerades as a credit‑repair agency. The callers typically request personal info such as Social Security numbers, addresses, and banking details while claiming a bad credit score. No legitimate credit bureau will call you unsolicited to verify credit, so treat any such request as suspicious. Hang up immediately, avoid sharing any data, and add the number to your phone’s block list. Report the incident to the FTC and your carrier’s fraud department. Stay vigilant by regularly checking your credit reports directly through official websites and by using strong caller‑ID authentication tools.
