Renaissance debt collector calls – what to do?
Summary — +18664414730
Expert Opinion
Ever wonder how a rogue medical‑debt collector could get your personal data? The pattern in these reports points to a repeat‑offender using the Renaissance brand to chase questionable medical bills. Protect your privacy by refusing to share payment details over the phone, and always request a written validation of the debt. Verify the collector’s license with your state’s attorney‑general office before you engage. If the claim looks fabricated, report the number to the FTC and your carrier’s spam‑blocking service. Keep copies of any letters, and consider placing a fraud alert on your credit file to curb further misuse.
