Posing as a legitimate proces server, this company claims people are getting sued
Urgent legal‑service scam? How to protect yourself!

Expert Opinion
Never trust urgent‑call scripts that pressure you to act within hours. These messages often masquerade as county process servers or legal offices, using a 1‑866‑475‑1728 callback number and fabricated case numbers to create fear. They may mention your social‑security digits or family members to appear legitimate, but reputable agencies never request payment or personal data over a cold call. Hang up, record the number, and call verification of any claim by contacting the official county or court website. Report the incident to the FTC and your state attorney general, and consider placing the number on a do‑not‑call list.
