How to block relentless Total Credit Recovery scams

Expert Opinion
Ever wonder why the 866‑519‑6431 keeps showing up on your phone and sounds like a vague debt collector? The calls are almost always automated, claim to represent Total Credit Recovery or a bank like TD, and end with a dead‑end hang‑up. Most victims never had a relationship with the alleged creditor, which means the callers are likely running a scam that pretends to be a debt collector. Never share your personal information or payment details over the phone. Hang up, block the number, and verify any claim directly with the institution using official contact info. Report persistent calls to the FTC or your provincial consumer protection agency.
