Bank of America scam call? What to do!
Summary — +18665581916
Expert Opinion
Muffled, indecipherable voicemails often signal a problem. When a call claims to be from a bank but sounds low‑volume, garbled, or asks for account details, treat it as a potential scam. Hang up immediately and contact the institution using a phone number from the back of your card or the official website; never rely on the number displayed on caller ID. Do not share personal information such as Social Security numbers, passwords, or payment details over the phone. Use your phone’s block feature, report the number to the FTC’s spam‑call database, and stay alert for future impersonation attempts.
