Why ARO debt collector calls keep coming back?
Summary — +18667895866
Expert Opinion
People say they’re still getting ARO calls even after registering on the do‑not‑call list. The pattern points to a persistent debt‑collection agency that often uses automated prompts without identifying the creditor, which runs afoul of Canadian telemarketing rules. Callers should let the call go to voicemail, then verify the agency’s licence via the ROPO or the provincial consumer protection office. Register the number with the national Do‑Not‑Call registry, request a written cease‑and‑desist, and consider filing a formal complaint with the CRTC. Using call‑blocking apps or carrier‑level block can also reduce unwanted rings. Keep records of each call in case legal action becomes necessary.

Having received calls from 1-866-789-5866 for two months without any issues with my credit, I am seeking assistance to cancel these unidentified calls, or I will be forced to contact the authorities
Hello there,
It has been confirmed that this is a collection agency, specifically ARROW, and after speaking with a representative, it became clear that without proper identification, no further action could be taken, resulting in the refusal to cooperate and a warning of potential automated calls for a year.
Despite requesting to be removed from their list, they continued to call, prompting me to attempt to call back multiple times today.
I also received a message from 866-789-5866 and, upon calling back, found the voice on the other end to sound suspicious, prompting me to end the call.
I am skeptical about this being the credit company Aro, as others have stated it is a scam, and i dont have any credit issues so why would they be contacting me.
