Following up on the promise of a trip to Hawaii or Mexico, it's unclear if the offer was genuine or not.
Silverleaf Resorts calls nonstop – how to stop them!
Summary — +18668048589
Expert Opinion
During a late‑afternoon workday, your phone may ring repeatedly from 866‑804‑8589, a line tied to the Silverleaf Resorts operation. These calls follow a classic sweepstakes‑to‑timeshare script: a promise of a prize, a mandatory in‑person presentation, and persistent follow‑up calls that often ignore cancellations. Consumers should treat any unsolicited prize offer with skepticism, hang up, and block the number. If the calls continue, file a complaint with the FTC or FCC and consider a call‑blocking app that flags unknown 800‑area‑code numbers. Keeping personal contact details off giveaway forms can also reduce exposure.
