URG debt collector calls—how to stop them!
Summary — +18668870052
Expert Opinion
Imagine getting a missed call from +18668870052 and finding only a vague voicemail that claims to be from a debt collector. The pattern points to a persistent scam operation that repeatedly dials different numbers to bypass blocks. Never return the call or share personal details, especially Social Security numbers or banking info. Add the number to your phone’s block list and report it to the FTC and your carrier’s spam‑filter service. Consider using a third‑party call‑blocking app for extra protection. If the voice‑mail asks for a “John Neal” you don’t know, treat it as a clear red flag and delete it.

A voicemail was recieved from this #, albeit my phone was off, and suddenley when I reactivated it, a recoreded VM was left- asking me to call this # back, unfortunatly the company name was unclear- a persons name was not left on the VM, exessively dificult to make out the company name, but it posibly could be URG?????? A message was left claiming to be from a debt collector, but the legitimacy is questionable.
I feel the same way too, it's like we had the same experience
These scammers bypassed a direct call and instead left a message with an unpleasant voice; if a company can't afford a decent voice for their messages or lacks the courage to make a legitimate call, they won't be getting a response from me.
This is a scam aimed at stealing personal information and money, perpetrated by unscrupulous individuals.
Nothing of significance was missed, as this appears to be a scam aimed at extracting money or information from individuals.
