Dont call this number, it's a fake
A text message recieved from this number attempted to impersonate a Wells Fargo notification, claiming fraudulent activty on my debit card, but the spelling of Wells/Fargo and the lack of officical formatting raised suspisions, and upon investigating my accounts, no such activty was found.
This number should not be called, as it's likely a fake or scam number
Apparently, scammers serieously inteligently designed a fake Wells Fargo notification to deceiv users into beleiving their debit card has been fradulently charged. This particuler spam text was recieved from an unknown number, with no connection to any authentic Wells Fargo text chains, and the spelling of Wells Fargo as Wells/Fargo raised suspisions. Upon checking my accounts, there were no pending charges matching the amount specified in the text. The text also omited the opening parathesis from the phone number, which is unprofesional. It's an obvious attempt to obtain personal info by having the recipient call the 800 number. I recomend reporting and deleting this scam.
