In a follow-up to my previous post, I found this phone number to be legitimate. It was related to a QVC card that was fraudulently approved in my name, and contacting them allowed me to cancel the card and an associated order, taking further steps to secure my credit and file a police report.

Fortunately, this call was legitimate, as I had recently discovered a fraudulent Walmart credit account opened in my name, and the representative from Synchrony Bank was able to assist me in resolving the issue and placing a fraud alert on the account.
